Profile
MNDesign is an architecture office in Berlin, which was founded in 2018 by Dipl.-Ing. Architect Maria Doyle. We design and realize a wide range of architecture and design projects both domestically and internationally, with a particular focus on residential buildings as well as cultural and educational projects.
In Berlin, we have extensive experience in documentation, planning and building in existing structures, especially in the field of attic conversions, often complemented by custom-built furniture and high-quality detailing solutions.
In Scandinavia, we have designed and realized several single-family homes and small cabins in spectacular natural settings. In these projects, space, light, and the surrounding environment harmoniously flow into the architecture, giving each project a unique character.
For us, people are always at the center – with their personal feelings, stories, and experiences.
In the field of culture and education, we have recently, planned an extension to a primary and secondary school in Madagascar and have taken on artistic supervision until its completion. This has helped our international network, particularly in the Global South, to expand within the educational sector.
MNDesign also creates interactive art projects that explore the themes of people, space, and society, bringing dreams and realities to life through visualizations and personal storytelling.
We enjoy working with children, developing concepts and workshops which invite them to explore and express their connection to their environment – whether it be the urban space, local history, or nature. Our goal is to enhance their self-awareness and foster a deeper connection to space and surroundings, helping to build confidence and a positive sense of identity.
Our team is assembled according to individual project briefs and draws on an international network in the area of architecture, design, and culture.
MNDesign aims to contribute to diversity, joy, and sustainability in everyday life through concepts which combine social awareness with sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics.
